On September 18, 2020,  a series of calls, under the Greed Deal common title, were announced in the frame of the EU Horizon 2020 Program. The deadline for submission is January 26, 2021. The key objective of the thematic focus of the call is to design and implement technologies contributing to the green gas emission reduction and ensuring economic growth decoupled from resource use. The total budget of the call is around 1 billion euro, and it is one of the last opportunities of partake in Horizon 2020 and submit project proposals. While the thematic areas of the call are quite specific, we believe, it will be possible to ensure participation Armenian organizations in the potential consortiums in case of proactive attitude. These steps might include the following:

• Actively use the H2020 Funding & Tenders portal partners' search tools. Find the thematic call of your interest beforehand and post information about your company in the Partner Search section of the relevant call. For instance: Partner Search Tool.
• Liaise with your European partners and inform them about your interest to participate in a particular thematic call, requesting them to invite you, if they have intention to get prepared and coordinate the project proposals.

We would like to inform that the Innovative Tourism and Technology Development for Armenia Project has expressed commitment to support the companies preparing proposals for the Horizon 2 020 Green Deal calls. This support may include engagement of European consultants and guidance in the process of project preparation. Where needed, potential other forms of rendering support can be discussed.
